Members evening – Letters K & L
As always, our members evening turned out to be great fun, with members being asked to display something relevant to the letters K and L.
Of course, there’s always some tangential links and this meeting proved no different, with some members stretching the bounds of possibility!
The material on display was of course, of the usual high quality and it gave people a chance to show parts of their collection that few of us knew they had, or projects that they had been quietly working on over many years.
The topics shown included:
- King George V shades on G.B. definitives
- Kedah, Kelentan, Kathiri State, Leeward Islands & St Lucia
- Lions international
- Lost (stamps missing things)
- Locomotives of South West Africa and Namibia
- KUT stamps of QEII
- Airmail Labels from countries beginning with K or L
- Stamps of King George VI
The event was a great success and we all look forward to the next time we can show something different from our collections.
