As is traditional, the Society held their annual summer BBQ at Cassia Corner and for once, the weather held out and gave us a lovely day.
This year, however, was slightly different, in that it was the final time we would be able to use these gardens for our event, the owners having sold the property. We therefore made the most of the day and enjoyed the sunshine along with steaks, chicken sausages, and salads, with strawberries and cake for dessert.
The photos below are a reminder of the day, with a final group shot of the gardens with the members waving goodbye to the place. We would like to sincerely thank Mr & Mrs MacPherson for allowing us to use their facilities over many years.
