Chairman’s Evening with Geo V and VI commemoratives

The recent meeting of Northwich Philatelic Society was the Chairman’s Evening where we were treated to a display of the GB commemorative stamps of the reigns of both George V and George VI. Astonishingly there were very few and the display covered all of them including blocks, sheets, cylinder blocks, essays, flaws and proofs and some fabulous rarities including the £1 PUC and the famous 1925 Silver Jubilee 2½d Prussian Blue stamp.
