The Society were treated to a wonderful display from Peter Kirk on 14th March when he took us on a philatelic journey through Edward VII, George V and Edward VIII.
The display covered many aspects of philately including first day covers, mourning covers, aerophilately, Cinderella’s, commercial covers cancels, ephemera, newspaper wrappers and of course, some stamps.
There was so much material that he had to be selective in the display and even so what we saw was wonderful.
